PAHrtners Deaf Services is now accepting applications / resumes for theStaff American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter position in our Pittsburgh office. This is a full-time position.
This position provides interpreting services for: emergency situations, mental health evaluations, staff meetings, home visits with Deaf children and adults and community meetings. Must be able to work with a team of hearing and/or Deaf interpreters.
National certification required. AA degree with a minimum of three years’ interpreting experience OR BA degree in Interpreting with one year of experience. Knowledge of mental health disorders and/or developmental disabilities a plus. Some evening and weekend work and local travel required. Compliance with PA Act 57 also required.
